Celebrate Main Street 2007
Saturday, July 28th, 2007 was "Celebrate Main Street" in downtown Kendallville, Indiana. WAWK "The Hawk" staff members joined Scott Pawl as he broadcast live from historic downtown Kendallville. We had more cars for the cruise-in than room for them, having to expand to several side streets. The Hula-Hoop contest with music from The Fords is always a popular event.
The Hawkmobile is always prominently parked at all remote broadcasts, seen here in downtown Kendallville during Celebrate Main Street.
WAWK's Mike Shultz, Main Street Business Association President Don Gura and The Hawk's Kelly Howard prepare to judge the hula hoop contest.
